From the bustling streets of Ximending to becoming New Taipei's most beloved braised food master, Yi-Zhen-Xiang has carried on three generations of traditional craftsmanship for thirty years.
🏪 1990 - The Beginning
In the past, the first-generation owner was doing business in Hangzhou, China, but after experiencing setbacks, he returned home in disappointment. By a stroke of fate, he met a master of luwei (braised delicacies) there. Seeing his sincerity, the master generously shared his secret recipe. After returning to Taiwan, he repeatedly refined and improved the recipe with dedication, eventually creating a unique, mouthwatering Hong Kong–style luwei that became a must-have snack for moviegoers in New Taipei City.
👨🍳 2005 - Second Generation Innovation
The second generation inherited the family business, introducing vacuum packaging technology while preserving traditional flavors, expanding from local to nationwide delivery.
🌟 2025 - Third Generation Heritage
The third generation combines traditional craftsmanship with modern technology, creating an online platform while maintaining the authentic taste that has been loved for thirty years.
